Alejandro Mejia Killed in Beaumont Motorcycle Accident on Potrero Boulevard

, California (December 28, 2021) – The Sheriff-Coroner has identified the motorcyclist who died Monday afternoon in a traffic collision in Beaumont as Alejandro Mejia, 29.

The deadly crash happened at around 12:41 p.m. Monday, December 27, at the intersection of Potrero Boulevard and Four Seasons Boulevard.

According to the authorities, Mejia, a resident, was riding his motorcycle in the area when he collided with a pickup at the intersection under unclear circumstances.

Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, Mejia was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup truck driver stopped at the scene and was cooperative, police said. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.

The collision remains under investigation by the Beaumont Police Department.
