Phoenix, AZ – The Phoenix police have identified two people who were killed in a two-vehicle traffic collision at a Phoenix intersection early Sunday.
The victims, identified as Alonso Franco, 37, and Erick Segura, 35, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The deadly collision happened just before 2 a.m. on December 15 near 73rd Avenue and Indian School Road
Police say a 28-year-old operating a Chevrolet Camaro eastbound on Indian School Road attempted to change lanes to pass another vehicle, but the vehicle oversteered and entered the westbound lanes where it collided with another car.
A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized but is expected to survive. The 28-year-old driver of the Camaro was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.

According to the report, two people in their 20s died in the crash.
Two other parties involved in the accident were rushed to hospital with critical injuries.
