11-Month-Old Alonzo Quintero Killed in Windsor Hills Accident at La Brea Avenue and Slauson Avenue

, California (August 7, 2020) – Alonzo Quintero, an 11-month-old boy, was among six people killed in a fiery traffic collision in the Hills area of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, according to a local news source.

The incident was reported at about 2 p.m. August 4, at the intersection of La and Slauson avenues.

According to authorities, a  Mercedes ran a red light at the intersection and collided with multiple cars. 

The impact caused two of the vehicles to catch fire. One of the vehicles also appeared to have come to a rest on its roof near the entrance of a gas station.

According to a witness, one of the drivers appeared to have been making a left turn just prior to the crash.

Quintero was among six people that sadly died in the crash. His mother, Asherey Ryan, and her boyfriend, Reynold Lester, were among those killed in the collision.

The identities of the other three victims were not immediately released.

One of the drivers, Nicole Lorraine Linton, 37, was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood for treatment of her injuries. She was also arrested on supicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.

Seven other parties were hurt and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

Los Angeles, California (August 4, 2020) – Six people including a pregnant woman and an infant were killed in a horrific car crash in the Windsor Hills area, southwest of downtown Los Angeles, on Thursday afternoon.

At around 2 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department and the California Highway Patrol responded to a horrific scene of a collision at the intersection of La Brea and Slauson avenues.

A  Mercedes ran a red light at the intersection and struck multiple cars. Two vehicles reportedly caught fire after the collision. One of the vehicles appeared to have rolled onto its roof near a gas station entrance.

A witness said one of the drivers appeared to be making a left turn before the crash.

Six people died in the crash, according to the Fire Department.

The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

Eight people were injured in the horrific crash and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
