Andrew Czarny Among 2 Killed in Bakersfield Car Crash at Herring and Old River Roads
Bakersfield, California (February 25, 2022) – Andrew John Czarny, 35, of Riverside, has been identified by the Kern County Coroner's Office as one of two people who died in a collision with a big rig at an intersection near Bakersfield on February 25.
The incident took place at Herring and Old River roads at about 3:55 a.m.
Czarny was reportedly driving a 2022 Nissan Altima when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a 2015 International 2 Axle tractor driven by Bogar Beltran Lopez, 37, of Earlimart.

Czarny and one of his passengers, Sandra Gayle Conway, 37, of Moreno Valley, were both killed in the accident.
A second passenger in the Nissan, identified as Ton Eggleston, 41, of Riverside, sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Lopez was not injured in the incident, which remains under investigation by the CHP.
