Andrew Rios ID'd as Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Collision Interstate 215 near Palm Avenue in San Bernardino
San Bernardino, California (August 27, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Bureau has identified the pedestrian who died Wednesday night in a traffic crash in San Bernardino as Andrew Rios, 22, of Ontario.
The deadly accident was reported at around 10:13 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, on Interstate 215 near Palm Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian, now identified as Rios, was declared deceased at the scene at 10:25 p.m.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
