Angie Thao Arrested for DUI after Deadly Fresno Crash on Jensen and Marks Avenues
Fresno, California (July 4, 2022) – Angie Thao, 24, was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a traffic collision that left a 38-year-old man dead in Fresno County on Saturday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened in the area of Jensen and Marks avenues just before 4 a.m. on July 2.
According to California Highway Patrol, Thao was driving north on Marks Avenue when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Nissan truck carrying two adults and a child.
Thao was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
A passenger in Thao's vehicle, a 38-year-old man, was killed in the collision.
The three occupants of the truck sustained minor injuries.
Authorities said Thao was arrested for DUI following the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Fresno, California (July 2, 2022) – A man was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Saturday morning in Fresno.
The deadly collision happened in the area of Jensen and Mark Avenues at around 4 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials say a car ran a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a truck.
A passenger in the car, a man in his mid-twenties, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Once released, the driver will be arrested on suspicion of DUI and manslaughter.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
