Gilbert, AZ – Gilbert police have identified the female motorcyclist who died after colliding with a vehicle in Gilbert on Monday.
The police identified the woman as 20-year-old Annabelle Patterson.
Authorities said just before noon on May 20, police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Pecos Road and Higley Road.
Authorities said a 16-year-old boy was driving the car and failed to yield while making a left turn on a yellow light at the intersection, leading to the crash with the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, later identified as Patterson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.

Gilbert, AZ – One person was killed on Tuesday in a motorcycle accident in Gilbert, according to Gilbert police.
The deadly accident occurred around noon, May 20, at the intersection of Pecos and Higley roads.
Police said a motorcycle and a car were involved in the collision.
