Hesperia, CA. – 22-year-old Anthony J. Rodriguez has been identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office as the man who died in a motorcycle accident in Hesperia on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Sycamore Street at around 7:17 p.m.
The Victorville man was riding a red and black 2018 Suzuki GSX-S motorcycle northbound on Maple Avenue when he collided with a black GMC Sierra 2500 pickup truck that was making a left turn from Sycamore Street onto Maple Avenue.
Rodriguez sustained injuries critical injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The pickup truck driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
