Anthony Warren Injured in San Andreas Car Accident on Highway 49 and Pool Station Road
San Andreas, California (April 2, 2022) – Anthony Warren, 68, of Altaville, was flown to a hospital after being involved in a traffic collision on Highway 49 and Pool Station Road in Calaveras County Thursda afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 2:30 p.m. March 31.
The CHP said Kristy Arroyo, 31, of Placerville, was operating a 2006 Mercedes sedan on the highway when she failed to stop for stopped traffic and crashed into the back of a 2006 Subaru SUV driven by Warren.
The SUV was pushed into the rear of a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup that was making a left turn onto Pool Station Road.

The crash left Warren with moderate injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Arroyo was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, David Romaine, 58, of Manteca, was uninjured.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
