Authorities said Delon was driving a Toyota Yaris westbound on Highway 62 when he crashed into the rear of a Lincoln SUV

Desert Hot Springs, CA.- The man who was killed in a traffic collision in Desert Hot Springs on Wednesday morning has been identified as Aras Delon, 69, of Twentynine Palms, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
The wreck took place on Highway 62 and Indian Canyon Drive at around 11:30 a.m. December 4.
Authorities said Delon was driving a Toyota Yaris westbound on Highway 62 when he crashed into the rear of a Lincoln SUV.
Delon was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A female passenger in the Lincoln complained of pain but was not taken to hospital.
The accident remained under investigation.
