At Least One Person Seriously Injured in Interstate 5 Freeway Collision near Van Nuys Boulevard in Arleta
Arleta, California (November 30, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Tuesday morning in the Arleta neighborhood in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash occurred at around 9:42 a.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Van Nuys Boulevard.
The CHP said the collision involved a silver sedan, a semi-truck and a third vehicle. At least one of the vehicles overturned during the collision.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene to provide medical aid to the parties involved. At least one patient was taken to a local hospital with major injuries.
Several lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway were shut down due to the accident.
No further details were available.
The crash remains under investigation.
