The California Highway Patrol said a big rig was traveling north on McCall Avenue when it collided with a pickup truck that entered the intersection from west Parlier Avenue

Fresno County, CA.- The driver who died in a collision with a big rig in Fresno County on Tuesday morning has been identified as Armando Jimenez Cadena, 36, of Del Rey, according to the Fresno County Coroner's Office.
The accident took place on Parlier and McCall avenues at around 9:30 a.m. December 3.
The California Highway Patrol said a big rig was traveling north on McCall Avenue when it collided with a pickup truck that entered the intersection from west Parlier Avenue.
Jimenez, who was driving the pickup, was ejected in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger in the pickup was rescued by a passerby who pulled her out of the burning pickup.
The woman was taken to a hospital and was listed in critical condition.
Fog is believed to have played a role in the incident, the CHP said.
The investigation is ongoing.
