1 Killed, Arturo Garcia Arrested After Pleasant Grove Accident on Highway 65
Pleasant Grove, California (February 25, 2022) – Arturo Garcia, 34, of Carmichael was arrested after a deadly crash south of Pleasant Grove Wednesday night, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on Highway 65 at around 10:03 p.m. February 23.
CHP said Garcia was driving a Subaru Impreza northbound on the southbound side of Highway 65 when he collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla.
The driver of the Corolla, a 39-year-old Roseville resident, died at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

Garcia was also taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with major injuries.
Debris from the collision impacted a white Ford CMAX. The driver of the vehicle, Subas Gurung, 29, of Rocklin, was uninjured.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
