At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Pope Valley Motorcycle Crash on Butts Canyon Road near Aetna Springs Golf Course
Pope Valley, California (July 16, 2022) – At least one person was airlifted to the hospital after a motorcycle accident that took place Saturday morning in Pope Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities received reports of the accident just before noon on Butts Canyon Road near Aetna Springs Golf Course.
A red Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided with a silver Subaru under unclear circumstances. The motorbike got completely dismantled, and debris from the crash was scattered in the roadway.
Cal Fire and other emergency personnel, as well as two helicopters, responded to the scene.
At least one person was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries.
No other details were given, but CHP is investigating.
