At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Hollister Car Accident on Highway 25 near Shore Road
Hollister, California (August 26, 2022) – At least one person was airlifted to the hospital from the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Hollister, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup occurred at about 5 p.m. on southbound Highway 25, just north of Shore Road.
A total of seven vehicles, including a semi-truck, were involved in the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to airlift at least one person who suffered severe injuries.
The highway was closed in both directions to allow the helicopter to land. The patient was transported in an unknown condition.
There were no details about whether the other parties involved were injured.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
