At Least 1 Injured in Canoga Park Crash at Sherman Way and Alabama Avenue
Canoga Park, California (July 6, 2022) – Injuries were reported after a chase ended in a traffic collision at an intersection in Canoga Park on Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Just before 10:20 p.m. on July 5, LAPD officers tried to perform a traffic stop when a driver took off at a high rate of speed.
Officers pursued the suspect and the chase ended when the suspect collided with another vehicle in the area of Sherman Way and Alabama Avenue at around 10:23 p.m.
At least one person was hurt in the collision.
The identities of the parties involved in the crash and their conditions were not released.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
