At Least 1 Suffers Injuries after Foster City Crash on San Mateo-Hayward Bridge
Foster City, California (July 11, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a big rig collision that happened on Monday morning in Foster City, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened a while before 6:20 a.m. July 11, on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge.
The CHP officials said a car and a big rig collided for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to at least one person injured in the accident. The name of the victim and the severity of the injuries they sustained were not immediately provided.
All westbound lanes of the bridge were closed by authorities to give way to an on-scene investigation.
No other information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
