At Least 1 Hurt After Vallejo Car Accident on 80 Freeway and Georgia Street
Vallejo, California ( August 1, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury car accident that happened on Saturday night in Vallejo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 8:40 p.m. July 30 on eastbound 80 Freeway, just west of Georgia Street.
Per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and aided at least one person injured in the collision. The number of patients and their current condition were not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lane 1 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 9:26 p.m.
Further details regarding this incident were not immediately provided.
