Sacramento, CA. – At least one person was sent to the hospital after a car accident that happened Sunday morning in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision took place around 9:25 a.m. on westbound Highway 50 just west of the 59th Street on-ramp.
A white Jeep Cherokee and another vehicle were involved in the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
At least two traffic lanes were briefly shut down following the accident.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
