1 Seriously Hurt in Humboldt County Accident on Highway 101 near Richardson Grove State Park
Humboldt County, California (August 10, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving multiple vehicles in Humboldt County on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 3:07 p.m. on August 9, on Highway 101 near Richardson Grove State Park.
According to CHP, a pickup truck, a box truck, and a sedan were involved in the incident.
At least two of the vehicles collided head-on, and the pickup was wedged beneath the side of the box truck.
At least one person sustained major injuries, while another had moderate injuries.
There were no further details provided on the accident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
