Two cars collided at the Disneyland Drive on-ramp to the southbound 5 Freeway

Anaheim, Calif. – At least one person died in a traffic collision that happened early morning on New Year's Day in Anaheim, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported around 12:34 a.m. on southbound 5 Freeway at the Disneyland Drive on-ramp.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
The female driver of a white Mercedez-Benz SUV called 911 advising that she was driving onto the freeway when another car hit her and overturned on the Disneyland Drive on-ramp. The reporting party said she drove off the freeway to a safer location at 6392 Beach Boulevard at Chevron gas station.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.
At least one person died in the collision.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
