At Least 1 Killed in Whitman County Accident on Highway 195 near Bauer Road

Whitman County, Wash. – At least one person was killed in a collision in Whitman County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The incident occurred on Highway 195 near Bauer Road at about 12:30 p.m. 

WSDOT said a van and a dump truck were involved in the head-on collision between Uniontown and Colton.

At least one person was killed in the incident.

The identities of the involved parties were not immediately available.

Both directions of Highway 195 were shut down following the accident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
