At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Two-Car Crash on Highway 101 at Indianola Cutoff in Humboldt County
Humboldt County, California (July 28, 2022) – At least one person was severely hurt in a two-vehicle accident that happened Thursday afternoon near Indianola in Humboldt County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at about 2:47 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 at Indianola Cutoff.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene to find one vehicle blocking 101 and another blocking Indianola. Both cars had rollover damage.
The responders transported at least one person to the hospital with major injuries.
The No. 2 lane of the highway, southbound Indianola, and the Indianola Cutoff off-ramp were blocked as investigators worked the scene.
CHP is investigating the accident.
