At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Two-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 605 in Norwalk

Norwalk, California (June 25, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a Norwalk car crash that happened Friday evening on Interstate 605, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at about 6:47 p.m. in the southbound traffic lanes of the interstate just north of Alondra Boulevard.
A red Porsche and another vehicle were involved in the collision. The Porsche was reportedly smoking heavily after the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person who was seriously injured was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The Nos. 4, 5 and 6 lanes remained blocked for almost an hour following the incident.
CHP is investigating the accident.
