Several Injured in Newhall Crash on 14 Freeway near 5 Freeway
Newhall, California (July 2, 2022) – Several people were hurt in a crash between two vehicles in Newhall on Friday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The wreck happened on the 14 Freeway, just north of the 5 Freeway, shortly before 10:10 a.m. on July 1.
The vehicles collided on the southbound side of the freeway for unspecified reasons.
At least five people sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The patients were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The freeway was closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is ongoing.
