According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 10:25 p.m. on eastbound Highway 91 near Central Avenue.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars overturned onto its roof, and another overturned and landed back on its wheels.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash.
All eastbound lanes of the highway were blocked following the collision.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
