The California Highway Patrol said the vehicles collided around 7:21 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 just over the San Joaquin River near the State Route 120 connector.
Lathrop, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday evening on Interstate 5 in Lathrop.
The California Highway Patrol said the vehicles collided around 7:21 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate just over the San Joaquin River near the State Route 120 connector.
Four vehicles, including a white Tesla SUV, were involved in the accident. One of the cars ended up hanging over the waters on the bridge.
Authorities said the pileup resulted in minor injuries. One of the patients was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment by AMR.
Several traffic lanes remained closed during the investigation and before the scene was cleared.
