The 24-year-old Corning man who was driving the ATV was transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, where he died
Tehama County, CA. – A man died in a collision involving an ATV on Wednesday afternoon in Tehama County.
The fatal collision happened around 4:40 p.m. on Hillcrest Drive near Oak Park Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Maria Favela, 51, of Corning, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Hillcrest Drive when she collided head-on with an ATV.
The 24-year-old Corning man who was driving the ATV was transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, where he died.
The driver of the Chevrolet and passengers were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
