At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Auburn Collision on Interstate 80 near State Route 49 Onramp
Auburn, California (January 10, 2022) – A two-vehicle collision left at least one person with serious injuries in Auburn on Sunday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai sedan and another vehicle collided on the eastbound side of Highway 80 at the State Route 49 onramp at around 2:06 a.m. January 9.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped free parties who may have been trapped in the wreckage.

At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident.
The identities of the parties involved in the collision were not immediately released.
The crash is under investigation.
