According to the report, Audra Ackerman, 46, of McMinnville, was walking her dog northbound across the roadway when they were both hit by a Ford F-250 pulling a landscaping trailer
McMinnville, OR.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in McMinnville on Friday evening, according to the McMinnville Police Department.
The accident took place on Southwest Old Sheridan Road and Southwest Cypress Lane at about 5:34 p.m. May 24.
According to the report, Audra Ackerman, 46, of McMinnville, was walking her dog northbound across the roadway when they were both hit by a Ford F-250 pulling a landscaping trailer.
Both Ackerman and her dog died in the accident.
The driver of the truck, Jose Huerta, 68, of McMinnville, and his two passengers, were uninjured.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
