Bakersfield Accident at Mount Vernon and Potomac Avenue Sends 1 to Hospital
Bakersfield, California (October 26, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred at an intersection in Bakersfield Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site just after 1:50 a.m. at the intersection of Mount Vernon and Potomac Avenue.
Although it was not immediately established how the accident occurred at the intersection in the morning hours, one of the involved vehicles overturned on its roof.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated several people who had been trapped in the rolled vehicle.

The crash left one person with unspecified injuries. The unidentified victim was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to an area hospital for further medication.
