Two Killed in Bakersfield Collision at Herring Road and Old River Road

Bakersfield, California (February 25, 2022) – Two people were killed early Friday morning in a collision between a semi-truck and a black sedan south of Bakersfield.
A Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of an International semi-truck.
Authorities said a semi-truck and a black sedan collided due to unknown circumstances.

The Nissan driver, identified only as a 35-year Rancho Cucamonga man, and a passenger, a 37-year-old Moreno Valley woman, were killed in the accident.
Ton Eggleston, 41, of Riverside, was a passenger in the car and was hospitalized with major injuries.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
The truck driver, Bogar Beltran Lopez, 37, of Earlimart, was unhurt.
