One Hospitalized after Bakersfield Crash at Olive Drive and Patton Way
Bakersfield, California (October 25, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Saturday morning following a traffic collision involving two vehicles in the Olive Drive area of Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 6:04 a.m. Saturday, October 23, at the intersection of Olive Drive and Patton Way.
CHP said two sedans collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
Car Collision in Bakersfield Sends 1 to Hospital
One patient was transported to the Memorial Hospital with chest pain. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately disclosed.
The crash prompted the authorities to temporarily close the intersection of Olive Drive and Patton Way.
No other details about the crash were available.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
