At Least 1 Killed in Bakersfield Collision on White Lane near Dovewood Street
Bakersfield, California (March 10, 2022) – One person was Killed in a suspected DUI collision in Bakersfield on Wednesday night, according to police.
The incident happened in the 4400 block of White Lane near Dovewood Street at about 10:50 p.m. March 9.
Police said an SUV and a two-door-coupe were involved in the crash.
Kimberly Phommasouk, 29, was driving the SUV east on White Lane when he tried to make a left turn and collided with the coupe.
Fatal Bakersfield Crash on White Lane
The driver of the coupe was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Phommasouk was arrested on DUI charges.
He is expected to be booked into the Kern County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
