3 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 65 near Jackson Avenue
Bakersfield, California (January 7, 2022) – A head-on collision left three people injured on Highway 65 in Bakersfield on Friday, the California HIghway patrol said.
Shortly before 8:45 p.m., two vehicles collided head-on just north of Jackson Avenue.
It's unclear what led up to the collision.

Three people were taken to hospital and two of them had major injuries.
Both lanes of the highway were closed as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
