At Least One Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash on State Route Highway 223 (Bear Mountain Boulevard) at South H Street
Bakersfield, California (February 16, 2022) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Wednesday morning in Bakersfield, Kern County.
The crash happened at around 5:38 a.m. on Bear Mountain Boulevard (State Route Highway 223) at South H Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Toyota pickup truck and a gray Jeep collided in the eastbound lanes of State Route Highway 223.
At least one person sustained major injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The wrecked vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
The accident remains under investigation.
