Bakersfield Accident at Auburn Street and Catalina Drive Kills Pedestrian
Bakersfield, California (November 14, 2021) – A man died after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in northeast Bakersfield Saturday evening, a local news source reported.
The fatal pedestrian crash took place in the area of Auburn Street and Catalina Drive at approximately 6:15 p.m.
It was not immediately established how the accidnet occurred at the intersection on November 13.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Pending notification of the next of kin, the deceased's name has not yet been released.
The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law enforcers.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the crash.
