The OSP said Abercrombie was driving a Dodge Ram when she crashed into the rear of a Peterbilt commercial car and trailer traveling down a steep slope

Umatilla, OR – Barbara Claudine Abercrombie, 56, of Irrigon, has been identified as the woman who died in a crash with a big rig in Umatilla on Saturday evening, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident occurred on I-84 near milepost 220 at about 6 p.m. June 15.
The OSP said Abercrombie was driving a Dodge Ram when she crashed into the rear of a Peterbilt commercial car and trailer traveling down a steep slope.
Abercrombie was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The OSP is investigating the crash.
