At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Saturday Night Barstow Car Accident on 15 Freeway
Barstow, California (October 3, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a Saturday night car crash that happened in Barstow, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The 15 Freeway crash was reported at around 10:23 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway just north of the Outlet Center Drive on-ramp.
Several people called authorities to report the two-vehicle collision. According to one of them, a small sedan was allegedly stopped in traffic lanes with no lights on when it was struck by another vehicle.
The sedan flew off the roadway after the impact ending up in the gore point.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and closed all northbound lanes of the freeway.
At least one person was seriously injured in the accident, as per the report. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital.
It remained unclear if any other party was injured.
Police in Barstow are investigating to establish the factors that may have triggered the wreck.
