Beaumont Accident at Highway 79 and California Avenue Sends 4 to Hospital
Beaumont, California (November 18, 2021) – Four people were hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Beaumont Wednesday morning.
The major injury crash took place near Highway 79 and California Avenue at about 9:10 a.m.
The crash involved a total of seven vehicles that crashed near the Beaumont intersection under unclear circumstances.

As per the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department report, seven unidentified people were hurt in the accident.
Three of the victims sustained major injuries, while a fourth party suffered moderate injuries. All four patients were taken to an area hospital for medication.
Paramedics also attended to the three additional victims, but they declined further treatment.
The crash resulted in the closure of Highway 79 between First Street and Gilman Springs Road to about 10:50 a.m.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
