Bianca Flores Identified as Woman Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Panama Lane

Bakerfield, California (February 3, 2022) – A woman from Arvin was killed in a crash believed to have been caused by street racing in Bakersfield on Wednesday night, the Kern County Coroner's Office reported.
The victim, Bianca Danielle Flores, 19, was driving westbound on Panama Lane when she collided head-on with an oncoming Ford Mustang that drifted into her path.
Authorities said the Mustang driver had been racing with a motorcycle eastbound on Panama Lane just prior to the collision near Akers Road.
The wreck happened at around 6:20 p.m. February 2.

Flores died in the accident while her passenger was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The drivr of the Mustang, identified as 35-year-old Iqbal Singh, was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to be booked into the Kern County Jail on charges of murder, vehicular manslaughter, and street racing.
Authorities said the motorcyclist that was racing with Singh fled from the scene.
The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the incident.
