Fair Oaks, CA.- A bicyclist was hit and injured by a vehicle in Fair Oaks on Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place just after 8 p.m. July 26, in the 8300 block of Sunset Avenue.
The CHP said a vehicle collided with a person on a bicycle under unclear circumstances.
The victim was hospitalized with major injuries.
There were no further details on the incident.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
