Police said the bicyclist was heading west on Planz Road when they were hit by a semi-truck traveling northbound on Wible Road
Bakersfield, CA – A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Bakersfield on Friday evening, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The collision took place in the area of Wible and Planz roads at about 5:58 p.m. April 26.
Police said the bicyclist was heading west on Planz Road when they were hit by a semi-truck traveling northbound on Wible Road.
The bicyclist died of injuries sustained in the collision.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately available.
The wreck is under investigation.
