Woman Injured in Davis Bicycle Crash on Russell Boulevard at Highway 113
Davis, California (October 28, 2021) – A woman suffered major injuries in an accident between a vehicle and a bicycle in Davis on Tuesday evening, the Davis Police Department said.
The woman was riding a bike that collided with a vehicle in the area of Russell Boulevard and Highway 113.
The accident occurred at around 7:15 p.m. October 26.
Police said the vehicle was entering the southbound onramp of the highway when the driver ran a red light and collided with the bicyclist.

The 19-year-old bicyclist was rushed to Kaiser Vacaville with critical injuries.
The driver who hit the bicyclist reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the incident, police said.
The crash is under investigation.
