San Francisco, CA – A bicyclist was hit and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in San Francisco on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at Valencia and Sycamore streets just before 7:22 p.m. June 28.
Authorities said an SUV driver was trying to make a U-turn near the intersection when the car T-boned a bicyclist traveling in the bike lane.
The rider of the bicycle was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene after the accident.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
