Bicyclist Injured in Berkeley Crash on Marin Circle
Berkeley, California (December 10, 2021) – A bicyclist was struck and injured by a vehicle in Berkeley on Thursday morning, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on the Marin Circle shortly before 8:50 a.m. December 9.
Authorities said a Honda Odyssey driven by a 45-year-old woman was traveling on the circle when it struck an 83-year-old Berkeley man on a bike.
Bicyclist Hurt in Berkeley Crash on Marin Circle
The rider sustained a head injury and was taken to Highland Hospital.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
