According to police, a bicyclist and an Acura SUV were both traveling north on S. Ely Boulevard when the two got into a crash
Petaluma, CA.- A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle near an intersection in Petaluma on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
The incident took place on S. Ely Boulevard and Capistrano Drive at about 3 p.m. May 28.
According to police, a bicyclist and an Acura SUV were both traveling north on S. Ely Boulevard when the two got into a crash.
The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Acura stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
