Eureka, CA.- A bicyclist was hit and injured by a vehicle near an intersection in Eureka on Tuesday, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred at around 4:20 p.m. May 27, in the area of Harris and H streets.
According to the report, a 13-year-old boy was riding a bicycle near the intersection when he was struck by a pickup truck that was beginning to accelerate.
The boy was taken to a hospital with injuries to his left leg.
The accident is under investigation.
