Cottonwood, AZ. – A bicyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a vehicle in Cottonwood on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Cottonwood Police Department.
The crash took place on South Main Street at about 4:30 p.m. July 9.
Police said a 52-year-old man from Cottonwood was riding a motorized bicycle in the bike lane against traffic when he collided with a vehicle that was exiting a business parking lot to travel southbound.
The bicyclist, who was ejected by the impact of the accident, was taken to Verde Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
