Escalon, CA. – A bicycle rider was killed in a traffic collision Wednesday morning in Escalon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at around 5:55 a.m. in the 23137 block of Santa Fe Road.
The bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, died at the scene.
